Ms. Bevil represents railroad clients in Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), grade crossing and other railroad related litigation. She has defended various clients against whistleblower claims brought pursuant to the Federal Railroad Safety Act and has dealt with issues such as preemption involving state and federal regulations, derailments and cumulative trauma claims. Ms. Bevil is an experienced litigator with substantial courtroom experience that includes arbitrations, mediations and several jury trials, as well as several appeals in Missouri and Illinois. She is involved with various industry conferences and seminars and has presented on topics such as OSHA whistleblower claims and preemption.
